The REED PACK, often underestimated, is a FUNDAMENTAL component for the operation and performance of our engine. Used since the 70s, it has represented a real revolution for 2-stroke engines both on the track and on the road. In all applications, from trial to speed, it has quickly become the most used and performing solution.

Today this component has undergone a NEW EVOLUTIONARY STEP, but why NOW?

To answer this question we need to understand how a reed valve is composed and how it works: its main components are the cusp, the reeds and the flow guide.

These three components work in complete direct harmony with each other and indirectly with all the other components of the engine, starting from the carburetor and muffler.

Before us, all reed valves were made by industrial injection molding, or cast in aluminum and rubberized by vulcanization...

In both cases the initial costs of building a pack are very high, in fact a mold or production line for a traditional lamellar pack costs HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of euros and a lot of time.

For this reason, reed valves are standard, and the same model is always used on other engines as well.

Almost never anyone except the largest companies (they often change the flange but not the tip and 2 identical packs from the point of view of operation seem different) could afford to develop a new lamellar pack.

Today, thanks to the latest achievements of additive technologies and 3D modeling, it is possible to create a reed valve without having to use very expensive molds and therefore being able to create a reed valve for all needs.
